This week there is two great podcasts from WebDevRadio and Pro-PHP.com. WebDevRadio outline some upcoming interviews on search engine optimization and testing strategies, and point you to some useful podcasts about software development. Also, there’s an overview of an online graphic compression tool which comes with source code. This is a relatively short podcast 10MB compared to the 70MB of PHP-Pro !! . Paul M. Jones already announced this podcast on his blog before and here it is available online

Marcus has the honor of interviewing Paul M. Jones, author of Savant, SOLAR and YaWiki. Hear from the horses mouth why Savant was created, why it never made it into PEAR and why SOLAR is the PHP 5 framework you should be using.

I was waiting for a new podcast from the ProPHP, since I didn’t find any other doing technical podcast about PHP, except WebDevRadio recently. I took long time to release this podcast after the Episode #6, but I think it will be more frequent for this week.

Anyway Episode #7 is more about news in Blogs and websites starting by the list of vulnerable app to the XML-RPC flaw from Netcraft, Hosts that banned phpBB software from NetCraft too, a post about the new version of YaWiki from Paul Jones’ Blog, and finally a post over on PHPDeveloper.org talking about robots.txt.

Yesterday I got the php|arch magazine for reading, and today a nice PHP Podcast, I’m sure that there is more exciting Podcast awaiting for this week.
