This week I’ll be reading the Foundation of PEAR by Nathan A. Good and Allan Kent, the latest book released for PEAR published by Apress. It’s interesting to notice that the last period was very active in books for the PEAR community with two books previously published by Pakt publishing : PHP Programming with PEAR, by Stoyan Stefanov, Stephan Schmidt, Aaron Wormus and Carsten Lucke, and PEAR Installer Manifesto written by Gregory Beaver. Foundation of PEAR is more a reference book, which cover in its 640 pages all important PEAR packages with simple examples very well explained. I’ll post detailed review when I’ll finish it.
Last night I just finished reading Confidential SEO Secrets book written by Allen Harkleroad. The book name was “No Fluff just the SEO Stuff” but Allen just told me that he change it based on suggestion from Robert Scoble, it was one of the suggestion I sent also before to notice that he change it already. I’ve send Allen some corrections and suggestions and I’ll post full review later on the SEO Magazine. Long time that I didn’t read a book about SEO, and start counting until the next one !

Jimmy Carter, the thirty-ninth President of the United States (1977-1981), released a new book which is very unique in its context Israel-Palestine conflict from the point of vue of an ex US president. Jimmy Carter who helped bring amity between Egypt and Israel through the Camp David agreement of 1978, gives a slap to the Israel government and put all responsibilities in their side. Apartheid is the policy implemented by National Party government (1948-94) to maintain separate development of government-demarcated racial groups; also referred to as “separate development,” an d later “multinational development”; abolished by Constitution of the Republic of South Africa of 1993. Comparing the Isreali gov to the South African gov I think it’s all said. I don’t know if the book is already available here, but I’ll try to check it tonight. I think it’s a must read !
