Well it’s not really a beta website as indicated it’s less than an alpha version, Dhifaf.net as many have noticed have been launched few days ago to aggregate the Tunisian blogosphere. Currently there is just a very basic aggregator updated automaticly every hour. Currently if you want to be added just drop me a message, there is no fees the service is Free ! :-) Also just a note that this is not the real Dhifaf.net which was announced times ago. I have just set the aggregator there so I don’t put everything under phpmagazine.net which started to be overcrowded. The real Dhifaf.net is a mysterious project which will be launched one day, maybe the aggregator will be moved to something like tunisia.dhifaf.net to get a permanenent home.

If you have suggestion just drop me a message. And big thanks to Karim2k and Tom for collaboration and support to launch the website ! hope we could do better things together :-)

Tim Berners-Lee is the Director of the World Wide Web Consortium, Senior Researcher at MIT’s CSAIL, and Professor of Computer Science at Southampton ECS. Maybe the name isn’t very familiar for some of you, but you should be familiar with the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), the organization behind allmost all web standards such HTML, XML, CSS …

In 1989 one of the main objectives of the WWW was to be a space for sharing information. It seemed evident that it should be a space in which anyone could be creative, to which anyone could contribute. The first browser was actually a browser/editor, which allowed one to edit any page, and save it back to the web if one had access rights.

I’ll be off for the next week, I mean this week and since today. I’ll left some articles and posts for the next week in almost all my blogs cause finally I won’t even moblog. I left also in the last posts of this blog a pict of my head, so you can read directly what I’m going to post hehe no kidding.

This month on phpmagazine.net many news and articles as usual, but here is a selection of the top news :

You may notice that this month posting slowed down, it was not problem of time but it was more a lack of ideas. Anyway this month i’ll be more than busy, specially by the end, but i’ll moblog when i’ll find time cause most of the time i’ll be off my pc.

That’s why i have enabled moblogging on phpmagazine.net via atom. And now i’m using lifeblog and a nokia 6630.

This month on phpmagazine.net a new firefox magazine was born, we have exceeded disk space, bandwidth and 1000 visitors daily. A great progress in my opinion, and that’s not all, there is more coming soon. Stay tuned

In the effort to fight spam it is possible today to define clearly what is a Splog ( Spam + Blog ), personaly I define it as blog that are created by automated process for commercial purpose in first place and annoying the web in second place, but the problem faced today that to offer a good service we need a good definition of “normal blog”.

A definition which doesn’t include spammers. I have started with this : a Blog have unique and original content. What else ?

Your help is needed !! I would like to call all the blogosphere to participate if possible. If you want to learn about AntiSplog service currently established you can read posts and articles on the AntiSplog blog.

You know that everybody have brilliant ideas, but not all of them are successful for the simple reason that ideas are just a multiplier of execution. Derek Sivers gives a good formula that explain it :

AWFUL IDEA = -1
WEAK IDEA = 1
SO-SO IDEA = 5
GOOD IDEA = 10
GREAT IDEA = 15
BRILLIANT IDEA = 20

NO EXECUTION = $1
WEAK EXECUTION = $1000
SO-SO- EXECUTION = $10,000
GOOD EXECUTION = $100,000
GREAT EXECUTION = $1,000,000
BRILLIANT EXECUTION = $10,000,000

I totally agree, Ideas without execution are waist of time, but good execution with even with a weak idea work. That’s what make successful business. Any idea ??
