Last week I opened an auction to sell Wikimobs on Sitepoint. It’s not easy to separate from one of my favorite projects, but I thought that someone else could take care of the website better than I’m currently doing. It’s was unique opportunity to own a premium mobile site with monthly revenue of $1k+. But unfortunately nobody profited from this offer.
Finally, maybe I’m glad that Wikimobs will remain part of my mobile projects, even that I won’t have much time for it. Wikimobs development will continue after vacations and certainly there will be lots of new features that was planned before.
I don’t know if I can be productive with such flexible keyboards, but I want definitely one new keyboard. Y! Flexible keyboard can make any bend easily for just $52. But I’m not sure how this could support every day’s food and coffee

I noticed that some arabic translations of some IT words are weird, others are very funny !
For example how to write gmail in arabic ? it’s : الجميل (the beautiful)
And you maybe know Joomla CMS, in arabic it become جملة (sentence)

As usual I’m spending few time off from my perso blog, but not totally off. This month was pretty busy and many things happened together, starting from my friend Salah who is leaving the team where I’m currently working by the end of this month, my vacations getting closer, … I have a lots of tech news to announce but after vacations and can’t tell anymore about it at this time. The only thing that I’m worrying about is taking the responsibility of the IT team here, even that I used to during Salah’s absence.
The good news that by next month I’ll be starting a new life, as some of you already know that I’m getting married. So I hope to fix any issue here and there before mid-August so I can be completely off for some good vacations, better called honeymoon 
I’ll just keep an eye on hostphp.org server in case anything wrong happened, I have putty installed on my N80 for quick access.
Hostphp is currently hosting more than 50 websites, and the most busy one is wikimobs.com which currently serving more than 1million page views monthly, followed by phpmagazine.net with half a million page views monthly. Did I mention that Sadri started a new blog at BrainFault.com ? not at hostphp, but just for info
Yesterday one of our colleagues invited everybody for a dinner, somewhere in a desert place near Makkah, I just remember that it was outside the Haram limit of Makkah, not sure if it has a name. Meeting at 8pm, we went together to destination, the guide’s car first. The place was very nice, clean, prepared for such “jalsat”, only missing there a swimming pool and a gsm antenna. The problem in such places that the network is very low, mobily network doesn’t work at all, but there is a chance to get Jawal network at certain places only.
I took a picture of the “mobile place”, that’s where network is available. To make a call you have to turn on the speakers, and it works fine, the problem is when two are calling in the same time… Anyway the dinner was great, even that it was so dark and didn’t see anything, but kabsa should be always the same There was around 30 persons including kids, and 11 cars, our boss was there with his three kids so this morning it was tolerated to come working even at 10am

Today just announced AJAX4iPhone, new AJAX development portal for iPhone. It’s amazing that in about 4 days about 500′000 Apple’s iPhone units have been sold in US. Analysts have estimates that Apple earned between $50 and $150 during the weekend only. AJAX 4 iPhone will try to track AJAX application development for iPhones from development tools, techniques, free scripts, sample codes, and applications.
After that it have been confirmed that there is NO flash or flash lite support for iPhones, some are disappointed, but I think it will be a great point for AJAX applications development to lead the iPhones applications market.
