I’m looking for database of world cities but with Latitude, Longitude, Altitude and timezone of every city. I checked many companies offering such service (commercial and free) but there are always something missing if it’s not the coordinates, it’s the altitude or timezone. The current database that I have from MaxMind include more than 2.6 million cities but missing the altitude (timezone can be calculated) and this is not of course the total world cities. History.com have latitude, longitude and altitude of US and Canadian cities but it’s not enough. I will be very grateful if anyone can help me on this.

His name Carlos Slim Helu, 67 years old, Mexican with Lebanese origin, he got cool private jet and he’s second world’s richest man with $53 billion. For someone holding about 7% of Mexico’s GDP and almost half the Mexican stock exchange’s $370 billion value and controls a horde of industries ranging from telecom to tobacco, he is totally unknown outside Mexico unlike Bill Gates or Waleed Bin Talal. If you are visiting Tunisia for the first time or if you are Tunisian and like many others who don’t know how to get from a destination to another in Tunis city or anywhere in the country, TNTN.info will probably help you. The service is a route finder, you select the first and the last destination and it will give you the different steps to follow to go there. For example from Ariana to Eljem :

1- Metro 2 from Ariana to Barcelone
2- Walk from Barcelone SNCFT train station
3- Train Tunis-Tatatouine until Eljem.

TNTN.info

The service currently gives only static information, but expect in the future an integration with Google maps and more useful information. Did I mention that the service is French only ?

According to Xiti Monitor 18.8% of internet users in Tunisia use Firefox while this number is under 10% in Morocco and Algeria which respectively have 9.4% and 8.2%. The rating have been recorded for the week of March 5 to 11, 2007. There is no monthly rate for North African countries unfortunately, because a weekly rate can’t estimate very well the real number of Firefox users. Europe have around 25% which is excellent in my opinion with Slovenia (44.5%) and Finland (41.3%) on the top rate.
