Yesterday I went on a trip in Thowal, about 130 or 150 Km in the north of Makkah direction of Medinah. It’s a very small city but I heard that the beach is very beautiful there, and in reality the red sea is almost the same everywhere. There is no real beach, rocks almost everywhere. We arrived a little before the sunset, my friends tried to find a good place to swim but unfortunately there was nothing good.
After Isha prayer came the dinner !! Miam miam, about 15kg of fish fried and grilled 
I’m not fan of fish, but it was great, maybe better than last year trip. Everybody left the night few hours after dinner, but me with three other friends spend the night there and profit to go swimming in the morning. Lucky me, we find an excellent place for swimming and spend few great hours before going back home.
Something I noticed in the red sea that you can find very nice swimming places, but you have to know the place very well or ask someone who know it well. Because few meters away from the place we were swimming in, you have to walk for long time with water always under the heel, and of course be sure to wear sandals or anything. While the place we find the water level was height enough, and very clean too !
We had dinner and spend the night in a small but very nice bungalow, not very expensive especially that we were 11 to share this trip fees. Back home, radar caught us running at 150km/h, and thanks God they didn’t catch us in the day before when we were running at 200km/h. Anyway the road wasn’t crowded at all, and at 10am I was already at home sleeping.
I just woke up few hours ago, the trip was great and really need more time to rest. The night we didn’t stop laughing, it started when we were three cars following the guide’s car, and after 30min he stopped asking us where are we going !!!! Then when everybody left we played Uno, Domino and Zidou (yemeni version of solitaire !!). It was crazy funny and tiring trip, but unfortunately there was no time for fishing we took rods for nothing.
