Today I’m finally leaving my hotel to an independant small appartment with two rooms and bathroom, and just a small corridor. Last night I finished the carpet, bought a vacuum cleaner, and lots of cleaning stuff even it’s already clean but who knows ! I have to find solution for cracks in the floor around the room, then for the windows that are currently closed by plywood. The appartment is in a very old building but I find it nice and clean, especially the place which is very close to the main street and about 20min only walking from haram.
In the next days I have to buy Fridge, Cooker, TV, Satellite, Clim and probably more stuff that I forgot, maybe I’ll buy everything tonight but I don’t know yet. I have also to manage a small kitchinette in the corridor (~1m50×3m50) and do few changes in the bathroom wich is very old. And that would be inchallah my home until next year or maybe a little more depending on how things goes.
This will especially solve the problem of hajj period when I must leave the hotel and find an appartment for the same price that I pay now for the whole year. I can also say good bye to the new prices in hotel rooms during ramadan, and I was really lucky to move while price in hotels still regular. My room for example is about 700 SAR per month, but in ramadhan it become 150 SAR per day only !! Last year I think it was 2000 SAR during ramadhan but I share it with a friend.
This have been said, my plans to buy a new imac will be now delayed by few years I think. Anyway I’m feeling great now without a computer or a laptop at home, only if I’ll get a keyboard for my Nokia N80 
but I can still use paper for handwriting, anyone still using paper ? This is not very common for a geek !! eeek !!
