I was, but I’m not anymore. But I would love to play this one, well it’s a giant Tetris game on the side of a building. It’s using eleven custom-built circuit boards, a twelve-story data network, a personal computer running Linux, a radio-frequency video game controller, and over 10,000 Christmas lights. It took over five months of planning and can be seen off Interstate 95 in Rhode Island. 2000 Square Meter of fun waw !!

It’s not the first time that I’ve been dugg, but this time I wasn’t expect it, specially the result ! Yesterday the bandwidth exceeded the 30GB, while we’re still 10 days to the end of the month. First I was wondering if someone was teleporting the website, but checking logs everything was okay
So I just increased the bandwidth and today I was surprised that my rank at alexa jumped higher and higher to 800 Reach per million ! I’ve been Digged !
But I’m glad that the service have survived the Digg effect, something that I was worried about too much before and we used to test lot of plateforms before finding the most suitable one for our website. Tom know what am talking about
Anyway we’ll keep working on the relooking in the next few days before jumping to more interesting stuff ! Stay Tuned !
Only microsoft is used to do such things ! After releasing a security patch MS06-015 last week, it looks like many having problems to install this new patch. Microsoft responded by releasing a patch for the new patch trying to fix this issue.
Microsoft explained earlier this week that the MS06-015 update installs a new executable to validate shell extensions before they are loaded into Windows. However, Hewlett Packard’s Share-to-Web software, which ships with HP printers, scanners and cameras, causes this program to stop responding.
Even with the potential compatibility issues, security experts are urging customers to install the update as soon as possible. MS06-015 fixed a critical vulnerability, for which exploit code was publicly available. So be aware and update your windows, as said the Tunisian proverb “ghib ya norton, al3ab ya virus!”.
The first thing I said when I saw the picture is “I want one !!!”. This is a USB Flash Drives with micro pump inside it to allow changing its size depending on the amount of data it holds. When the device is about to blow up you will see the familiar error message on your screen: “There is not enough free space”. When swithched off the flashbag remains pumped up, so you can estimate with the naked eye how much more pics, books and music albums can be transferred into it. Amazing but original idea, there is more funny stuff on the website, just check it out.
I don’t know how many model of Nokia there are until today, certainly a lot that I don’t know names, models or what they offer as features. But if you plan to buy a Nokia 610, you’ll have to choose it for its Buttons for Humans. This is the new marketing slogan adopted by nokia for their new products, no more big features since all mobiles today seems to have cameras, games, internet, and all the common and known features. Now try to guess what could be the next big features in the next Nokia, it could be the human colors, human names, or human prices ?
Sometimes I say I’m really “stoukou”, i don’t want to translate it because it’s the suitable word even in english. One of my hosting account is going to expire tomorrow, so something logic will be to renew it. While this is one of the website that I rarely use, and I notice that the hosting cost about $35 per year while I remember having seen best offers for about $13 per year and it’s the kind of account that don’t need more.
Okay, I went to the new provider, create a hosting account, then looking to pay it I remember that my credit card have expired too mmm until I renew it tomorrow the hosting will be expired and the website down. Silly ! I asked my friends for a credits but didn’t find, and hopefully that I didn’t find because just after I remembered that I’m a hosting reseller and I can host my account by myself without paying any cents ? Yes that happens, and it’s called “stoukou”.
To make more test on the new design of the AJAX Magazine, I give it a try on my perso blog. And this time I won’t blog your mind anymore, because I also changed my blog’s name to “Hatem’s Diaries”. Don’t ask me why cause I don’t like both but it’s just a name, the old one was too long and this one is average and at least you know that it’s a perso blog and not a big deal !
Let me know if you like the new design. But anyway you like or not I won’t change it hehe I’ll probably fix bugs, make it more accessible and maybe one day give it a better logo. Until that time, I just want to welcome you again on my perso blog. Enjoy !
I’m here, not gone anywhere. Blogging as usual, but a little busy these days as usual too. The website served this month between 2000 and 3000 visitors daily with peaks reaching 4000 somedays, and an alexa rank 25,265. Notice that my person blog is getting just 2% of the whole traffic. I’m excited to bring the website into a new level in the next months as we have about 27% of regular readers overall.
There is some new features that have been announced recently on the phpmagazine.net website like PHP Jobs, Surveys and specially the PHP Planet which have been introduced to group all the PHP news that I usually read. We’ll welcome two new authors in the phpmagazine.net also, I’ll officially announce it in the main website when the time comes.
Waw finally a new logo for the AJAX Magazine, and I would like to thank Rob for this great job. You won’t see the logo yet on the website, because it will be there with a new design. So april will be the month of relooking for phpmagazine.net, with a new professional design which will reflect the visions that I want to give to this network.
