Dear Sami,
My name is Rola, i live in palestine.
i tried to contact you many times, but i guess till now it didn’t work..but i will not give up i’ll keep on trying to contact you, the most important thing that i wanted to let you know, that you appeared in my dreams for 3 times, and you convinced me to start praying and mention god and mohammad salla allahu alaih wa sallam. because im Muslim thank god,but i was very far from god although my parents are religous.
adding to that the bad situation we live in, i really needed something to cheer me up.and god has sent you, and i swear that even religious men and women tried to convince me to be closer to god and how much it helps to relax and to feel better, but i didn’t pay attention,i didn’t care because i lost my faith i lost many freinds i lost my hopes im looking ahead and i find no future for me. and i Do not listen to arabic music but i’ve heard about you from my cousins and directly i fell inlove with your words which gave me hope and your voice kept repeating in my head till i’ve found you in my dreams and now thanks to you im closer to god and i pray, and i read Quran..thanks for all of that, and i wish if you could send me back.. because there r few things i would like to tell you and thought’s i’d like to share.
But for now..Thank you alot Sami, you are a gift from god..so please take care of yourself, I and my people need you and be sure we are all thankfull
Salamat from a beduin palestinian girl,
ROLA.
P.S
if anyone knows the best way to contact Sami please let me know.. Slipknot_1×1@hotmail.com, thanks.

dear sami yusuf,
I write you this letter after I heard alot about you.
You have spoken to alot of people`s hearts and you have entered mine. I was born as a muslim thank god, I am now 31 years old and I’m married and have 3 children, i have tried several times to be close to god by praying, but I always stop. And I feel lost and have alot of questions about who I am and why am I here? and alot of questions. I can see that you have found your way but I am still feeling lost…what can you tell me? because I feel the strength in your soul.
sincerely yours
nelly

Well first of all I wanted to admire Sami for his work in media cuz Christians r controlling there whole nation by media. I think he is doing a gr8 work, n Hasbi Rabbi is stunning but I cant listen to it much cuz there is a lot of music I think there was no need for music, Sami’s voice n his style of singing n his videos r enough to impact on peoples heart, so if there is Hasbi Rabbi without music do let me know!
From ALMedina AlMunwara
JazaqAllah Khair n good luck to Sami Yusuf

AOA this is not only for Sami Yusuf but also for those ppl who consider the music is Halal ? If u want to spread Islam then do it by right way cuz if u do 1 right thing by da wrong way it won’t help. Pls pray to Allah to guide us n u in right path just pray ok JakAllah Khair
Plz Sami take some time to read n think on these Ahadees (they r all authenticated)
JakAllah Khair
Imam Ibn Taymiyyah also said regarding the person, whose habit is to listen to music, “His state of emotions becomes less passionate when he hears the Qur’aan. On the contrary, when he listens to instruments of the devil (music), he dances a lot. If the prayer is established, he either prays while sitting down or performs it as fast as when the roaster picks seeds. He dislikes listening to the Qur’aan and does not find beauty in it while reciting it. He has no taste for the Qur’aan and feels no love for it or pleasure when it is read. Rather, he finds pleasure if he listens to Mukaa’ or Tasdiyah. These are satanic pleasures and he is among those whom Allaah mentioned in the Ayah, And whosoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allaah), We appoint for him Satan to be a companion for him. [43:36].” [Awliyaa’ Ar-Rahman].
Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “Of the tricks of the enemy of Allaah, Satan, that he uses to trap those who do not enjoy much intelligence, knowledge or sincerity in religion, are M ukaa’ and Tasdiyah. These people of ignorance listen to and use musical instruments that are prohibited and which lead the hearts to abandoning the Qur’aan. These hearts are indulging in sin and disobedience of Allaah. Music, then, is Satan’s Qur’aan and the barrier between one and Allaah. It is the way to sodomy and adultery. With it, the lover finds what he seeks and dreams of sinful love. Satan has trapped the weak hearts in the love of singing and made it beautiful to them. Satan reveals to his agents’ fake proofs that they use as evidence to the beauty of singing. These people accept Satan’s revelation and, as a consequence, abandon the Qur’aan. When you witness them while listening, you will find them silent in humbleness, sitting idle and their hearts are concentrating and totally enjoying music and singing. Their hearts will feel closer to music, as if they were drunk. They dance and move in a suggestive manner, like faggots and whores. And why not? They are drunk with the pleasure of listening to music and singing and act accordingly. For other than Allaah, and for Satan, there are hearts that are being broken by sin, and fortunes that are being spent for other than Allaah’s Pleasure. They spend their lives in joyful fun and make a mockery of their religion. Instruments of the devil are sweeter to their ears than the Qur’aan. If one of them listens to the Qur’aan from beginning to end, it will have little effect or excitement on him. If Satan’s Qur’aan is being performed and heard, they feel joy in their hearts and one can see it in their eyes. Their feet dance, their hands clap, their breathing intensifies and the rest of their bodies feel joy. O you who are trapped in this sin, you who have sold your share of Allaah to Satan, what a losing deal! Why not feels this joy when you listen to the Qur’aan? Why not feel pleasure and comfort when the Glorious Qur’aan is recited? But, everyone seeks what he feels is suitable for him, and ends up with what is really suitable for him.” [Ighathat Al-Lahfan].
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz was asked about listening to music and songs, “Is it Haram? I only listen to it for pleasure. What about playing the Rababah (a kind of guitar) and old songs? What about using drums in weddings?”
Sheikh Ibn Baz said, “Listening to music is Haram and a sin. It is a matter that leads to weakening the hearts and abandoning the Dhikr of Allaah and the prayer. The scholars said about the Ayah, And of’ mankind he who purchases idle talks [31:6], that idle talks means singing. Abdullaah ibn Masud , the Prophet’s companion, used to swear by Allaah that it is singing. If singing is accompanied by the Rababah, ‘Ud (Arabic guitar), fiddles or drums, it is even more Haram. Any singing with any instrument is Haram and the scholars are unanimous on this. Therefore, Muslims must be aware of it. The Prophet said, “From among my nation there will be those who render as lawful adultery, silk (for men), AI-Khamr (alcohol) and musical instruments.” [Al-Bukhari]. I advise you and others to read the Qur’aan and keep remembering Allaah. I advise you to listen to Qur’aanic programs on the radio. This way, one will find pleasure and will keep busy so he can stay away from music and songs. As for weddings, the Daff (tambourine) can be used along with innocent singing that does not call to sin. This can be done at night, only in weddings and only by and for women. These songs are a way of announcing an Islaamic marriage. The Sunnah of the Prophet supports the above. As for the drums, they are Haram all the time. The Daffis permitted in weddings and only for and by women.”

Assalamu aleikum my dear brothers and sisters,
i have read a few comments left by people on here for brother Sámi yusuf and mashAllah Allah has given him a beautiful voice but please people do not forget that Nasheeds are only permissible to listen to on eid or wedding parties and WITHOUT any musical instruments.
so whenever you have that urge to listen to a nasheed why not listen to a beautiful Surah from the Qur’an and remember they are the words of Allah, and there is nothing better than the words of Allah!!!
below is an authentic ahadith from bukhari regarding music, and Allahu Alim (Allah knows best)
Narrated Abu ‘Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash’ari:
that he heard the Prophet saying, “From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, ‘Return to us tomorrow.’ Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection.”
PS. FOR MUSLIMAH… AS YOU KNOW SO MUCH OF THE SAYINGS OF IBN BAZ AND IBN TAYMIYAH YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THEY SAY THAT TV IS SHAITAAN, WELL NOT JUST THEM ALL SALAFI SCHOLARS SAY THAT AND ALLAHU ALIM.

>Monday, April 24, 2006
>
>I feel very uncomfortable about the pop culture which is growing
>around some so-called Nasheed artists. Of course I use the term
>’Nasheed artists’ very lightly. Islamic ‘boy bands’ and Muslim
>’popsters’ would probably be more appropriate.
>
>Eminent scholars throughout history have often opined that music is
>haram, and I don’t recall reading anything about the Sahaba whooping
>it up to the sound of music. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for people
>letting off steam, but in a dignified manner and one which is
>appropriate to their surroundings.
>
>The reason I am expressing concern is that just a few days ago at a
>venue in Central London, sisters went wild in the aisles as some
>form of pop-mania swept through the concert venue. And I’m not just
>talking about silly, little girls who don’t know any better; I am
>talking about sisters in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s, who squealed,
>shouted, swayed and danced. Even the security guys who looked more
>like pipe cleaners than bulldozers were left looking dazed and
>confused as they tried to stop hijabi sisters from standing on their
>chairs. Of course the stage groupies did not help at all as they
>waved and encouraged the largely female Muslim crowd to “get up and
>sing along.” (They’re called ‘Fluffers’ in lap-dancing circles!)
>
>The source of all this adulation was British-born Sami Yusuf, who is
>so proud of his claret-colored passport that he wants us all to wave
>the Union Jacks. I’m amazed he didn’t encourage his fans to sing
>”Land of Hope and Glory.” Brother Sami asked his audience to cheer
>if they were proud to be British, and when they responded loudly, he
>said he couldn’t hear them and asked them to cheer again.
>
>How can anyone be proud to be British? Britain is the third most
>hated country in the world. The Union Jack is drenched in the blood
>of our brothers and sisters across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine.
>Our history is steeped in the blood of colonialism, rooted in
>slavery, brutality, torture, and oppression. And we haven’t had a
>decent game of soccer since we lifted the World Cup in 1966.
>
>Apparently Sami also said one of the selling points of Brand UK was
>having Muslims in the Metropolitan Police Force! Astagfur’Allah!
>Dude, these are the same cops who have a shoot-to-kill policy and
>would have gunned down a Muslim last year if they could tell the
>difference between a Bangladeshi and a Brazilian. This is the same
>police force that has raided more than 3000 Muslim homes in Britain
>since 9/11. What sort of life is there on Planet Sami, I wonder? If
>he is so proud to be British, why is he living in the great Middle
>Eastern democracy of Egypt?
>
>Apparently the sort of hysteria Sami helped encourage is also in
>America, and if it is happening on both sides of the Atlantic, then
>it must be creeping around the globe and poisoning the masses.
>Islamic boy bands like 786 and Mecca 2 Medina are also the subject
>of the sort of female adulation you expect to see on American Pop
>Idol or the X-Factor. Surely Islamic events should be promoting
>restrained and more sedate behavior.
>
>Do we blame the out-of-control sisters?
>Or do we blame the organizers for allowing this sort of excessive
>behavior which demeans Islam?
>Or do we blame the artists themselves?
>
>Abu Ali and Abu Abdul Malik, struggling for their Deen, would
>certainly not try to whip up this sort of hysteria. Neither would
>the anonymous heroic Nasheed artists who sing for freedom; check out
>Idhrib Ya Asad Fallujah, and you will know exactly what I mean.
>
>Fallujah is now synonymous with the sort of heroic resistance that
>elevated the Palestinians of Jenin to the ranks of the resistance
>written about in the Paris Communeand the Siege of Leningrad. The US
>military has banned the playing of any Nasheeds about Fallujah
>because of the power and the passion it evokes.
>
>If those Nasheeds had sisters running in the streets whooping and
>dancing, however, the Nasheeds may be encouraged because of haram
>activity surrounding them.
>
>Quite frankly, I really don’t know how anyone in the Ummah can
>really let go and scream and shout with joy at pleasure domes when
>there is so much brutality and suffering going on in the world
>today.
>
>The rivers of blood flow freely from the veins of our brothers and
>sisters from across the Muslim world. Screaming and shouting the
>names of musical heroes drown out the screams coming from the
>dungeons of Uzbekistan where brothers and sisters are boiled alive
>in vats of water.
>
>How many will jump up and down and wave their arms in the air,
>shouting wildly for justice for our kin in Kashmir, Afghanistan,
>Chechnya, Palestine, and Iraq? There are many more killing fields as
>well across the Asian and Arab world. Will you climb on theater

>
>Or will you just switch off this concerned sister and switch on to
>the likes of Sami Yusuf because he can sell you a pipe dream with

‘Positive engagement - not anarchist ranting’
sami yusuf breaks his silence in an open letter to yvonne riddley
Open Letter
From Sami Yusuf to Yvonne Riddley
17/06/06
“Dear Yvonne,
Peace and blessings of God be upon you.
Your recent article on ‘Pop Culture in the Name of Islam’ has been brought to my attention. I commend you for voicing your opinion and raising some very important issues – albeit in a very provocative manner. I thought it would be useful to share some of my thoughts with you on this matter.
As a Muslim artist, I regularly seek clarification and advice from world-renowned scholars on art, music, singing and culture. Be informed that the subject of music is one of the most controversial topics in Islamic Jurisprudence. I respect those who consider music to be haram. Yes eminent scholars of our past have opined such. However, I respect and follow the opinion of other eminent scholars – classical and contemporary, who permit singing and the use of musical instruments. The well-established jurisprudential rule states that ‘in matters where there is ikhtilaf (differences of opinion) there is to be no condemnation of either opinion.’ This is from the beauty of the religion of Islam. The diversity of our cultural, legal and social traditions is something we are in dire need of celebrating not condemning. So let’s agree to disagree on this one.
The obsessive fascination of fans towards any celebrity - be it in arts, music, politics, media, etc - to the point of hysteria and hero-worshipping is definitely unhealthy not to mention un-Islamic. Of course, as Muslims, we are required to abide by certain etiquettes in whatever situation we may find ourselves in. However, I definitely did not see girls dancing or behaving indecently in any of my concerts. To state otherwise is a gross exaggeration if not an outright fallacy. And if indeed that did take place then let’s deal with it in the true Prophetic tradition - a tradition that imparts love, mercy, tolerance and wisdom. Let me share with you the story of the Bedouin who came to the Prophet’s mosque and started urinating in the mosque itself. The Companions rushed to grab him and give him a ‘good beating.’ But the Prophet did not allow them to do so and told them to let him be. After the Bedouin had urinated, the Prophet asked his Companions to bring a bucket of water and wash the place. Afterwards he called the man and with gentleness and affection explained to him that this was a place of worship and that it should be kept clean. Though I have to say that had the Bedouin been around today he would be lucky to get away with just…”

I just wanted to say Sami really didnt need to respind to that crazy woman Yvonne.
I think the whole Muslim Ummah (except a few minority) would agree with me. She was on a mission to damage if not stop the beautiful work done by Sami Yusuf and others.
We can not stop this art and work carried out by Sami and others. It’s exactly what they (figure out yourself) want us to be. Fixated in our own small world divorced from everything else. then they exterminate us.
We need to have an alternative. Let my sister and daughter dance to his music. I dont care. The fact that Sami has got them listening to nasheed and Islamic music is a great blessings for me. My daughters were completely lost. Now they saw some light I dont want Yvonne and her likes to stop this work.
March on Sami. The vast majority are with you.

……………to AHMED………………………
AS’SLAMU ALEIKOM BROTHER,
FIRSTLY BROTHER, YOU CAN NOT SAY WHAT ONES INTENTIONS ARE AS OOOONLY ALLAH KNOWS WHAT ONES HEART CONCEALS, SO PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF ON YOUR DEEN AND STOP TALKING ABOUT THINGS YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ON AS THIS ONLY SHOWS YOUR LACK OF INTELIGENCE!!!
secondly, it is not islamic at all in any way to refer to someone as “crazy woman”!!!
“I dont want Yvonne and her likes to stop this work” .. HOW CAN YOU UTTER SUCH WORDS?! AS ALLAH SAID IN THE QURAN THAT THOSE ALLAH GUIDES NO ONE CAN MISS GUIDE AND THOSE ALLAH MISGUIDES NO ONE CAN GUIDE!!!! SO GO AND LEARN MY DEAR BROTHER AS JUDGMENT DAY IS APPROACHING US AND STOP TALKING OUT OF IGNORANCE!!!
I AM SORRY IF THIS EMAIL OFFENDED YOU IN ANY WAY WHAT SO EVER BUT AT TIMES ONE NEEDS TO BE BLUNT IN ORDER THAT THE MESSAGE IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD. SO PLEASE FORGIVE ME AS I AM DOING THIS FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR UMMAH IN HOPE THAT WE CAN BE THE BEST MUSLIMS, INSHAALLAH.
and just so shaitan dont try to confuse you.. i am not this yvonne lady/ sister!!
as for your daughters, akhi (brother) give them books upon the sunnah and they will not reject it (inshaAllah) and avoid books of biddah (innovation) as they will only misguide you are your family. and dua is the best weapon you will ever have so pray that Allah guides you and your family to the truth and keeps you away from biddah as all biddah leads to the hell fire (this is a hadith in bukharee)so my brother it is really very important that you check up on what you read, speak, listen too before you take it as the sunnah, and Allah knows best!!

“WHY DO WE PREACH WHAT WE DON’T PRACTISE?”
(pourquoi prétend nous ce qu’on ne fait pas ?)

July 22nd, 2006 at 6:17 pm
Music in not haram.Music goes to a limit if you listen to alot of music and for example you miss one of your namaz because you got distracted by music thats a sin if you are listening to music that have bad influence like example 50 cent “i am up here in the club pocket full of doe” that goes under the cetogory of a sin if you actullay in your head say that is so cool or something positive about that music. But mr.sami yusuf is not teaching us to do that he is telling us about our prophet and about allah and if you think singing about allah and his prophet is haram then something is wroung with you thank you and Byeeee

WHEN YOU LEARN YOUR A,B,C THEN TALK ENGLISH!!
WHEN ALLAH MAKES YOU A PROPHET THEN YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO COMMENT ON ISLAAM!!
UNTILL THEN.. GO AND REEEEEEEEAD!!!!

Sami, keep up the good work, and please ignore the tribulations of those who disagree with you. You bring the light of Islam to people, they bring the darkness of confusion. All the prophets and saints were tested by naysayers and detractors, including the well meaning ones. Just have faith and Allah will be with you in the midst of the noise and rancour.

Selam Allikum Sami, im not sure if you do read this, im at the progress of something very important at the moment, so heres my quick message. Im a young child age of 13, live in US, state and place reserved for personal information, my ancestors are albanians, and i am born in the US. I didnt know who you were, until about 2 and a half months ago, in which i listened to the TV. Back in Albania/macedonia theres nothing to do but TV. Anywho i heard an amzing voice singing lyrics based on the Islam religion in ENGLISH!!! Well what i did is i asked my brilliant aunt Xharia, and she told me you were an english singer who transfered to Islam. When i heard this i was impressed that one of such people with fame would do that. And thats when i was told later of your incident in the US as well, which disappointed me greatly. I knew the americans hated us but this much??? anyways as soon as i got back i bought yer album. If you would like to contact me please insist on it sk8erdj200@hotmail.com I would like to inform you of many things, and know much about my favorite islam singer. Please Selam Alikum ve rametulah ve berekatehu.

I hope you continue your talent. if you have an email address can you give it to me but if you dont want to it is ok i understand.

What really amazed me that, mulims around the Globe are vastly ignorant about Islam. Misinterpretation of religion happens a lot, partly fault of igorance, wisdom of Muslim scholars very absent.
Take this example, you ride in car, use internet, watch TV, use mobile phone, you see man landing to Moon… these are all sign of progress. Now, some of you decry, these are “HARAM”.
Very sad to say, out of 1.2 billion Muslims, no Muslims ever landed in Moon. Scientific progress did not touch our live, vast muslim population are still poor.
These is very sad to see, Ummah is not getting awakwen. The world is moving forward, and if we want a strong faith and Ummah, we need to move forward. We need to think deeply about our belief, learn more and analyze to accomodate in our everyday life.
Please do not condem you inability or ignorance on others, Muhammad (PBUH) will not arrive again. But Islam will susvive, only because of true follower.
Sami is doing a wonderful job. We can not avoid the progress of modern science, rather we need to embrace and use for our Love of God. We need explain Quran in context of Twenty First Century.

ATTENTION TO FAMOUS SINGER SAMI YUSUF.
ALL PRAISES IS ONLY FOR ALMIGHTLY ALLAH
Dear brother sami yusuf,How r u?hope well by the grace of ALLAH.I am a bangladeshi girl.I am a student.I have heard much about u and ur some nice islamic songs. That songs touch my soul and attract my mind.Realy u have brought a new dimention in islamic music.ur way of singing is very excellent.ur songs gives us very important messages about islam and prophet MUHAMMAD(SM).Keep it up.ALLAH will help u to full fill ur dream INSHALLAH.I pray ur busket full of success in 2007 in ur musical career.I like u so much because u love ALLAH,PROPHET MUHAMMAD(SM)AND our religion very truly.I looked in to ur eyes and saw very cordial love for ALLAH, prophet MUHAMMAD(sm)and for our religion.I personaly want ur best in this world and oviously in akhirat.u have a nice personality and i think u have a knowladge about quran.i praises ur all good thoughts but i am concern about u.i want ur best life in akhirat but u know this is not easy to be perfect.i want to tell ur one words try not to cry.As we r human beings so at any time our heart can bend toward evil.I am telling u because i know it is haram to use any instrument in music.I know music is not haram.Good music is allowed in islam. But as u want to be a real muslim then please read quran carefully and then decied that what is ALLAH says about music.u only see in quran not listen my word and somebody else.As like ur younger sister this is my advice to u.Please remember this.I want to tell u some words. This is- At times when u feel every thing seems wrong then close ur eyes and whisper,ALLAH make u strong, bow ur head in prayer.never will he leave u always he will be near.I want to tell u one hadis from PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SM).This is ‘cry more than laugh’.thats why i love to cry. This word is ideal for me and enough for my life.U know life is nothing but mistry.U all the people come to this world only doing for ALLAHS work. Will u agree with me that ur fame may be the test from ALLAH.Today we r alive in this world but may be we could not stay in this beautiful world tommorrow. This thoughts scared me all time.I personaly want to be a good girl to my ALMIGHTLY ALLAH. I have a dream to do something for poor people.I dont know couldn’t i do that but i hope ALLAH will full fill my dream INSHALLAH.I have a another dream that is i want to be a islamic scholar.Any way i want to tell u that do u complete ur HAZZ.if u dont do that so please do it early.Because this is ur right time to complete ur HAZZ.our PROPHET MUHAMMAD(SM)SAID TO his ummat that youth is the right time for going near and dear to almightly ALLAH.U should complete ur HAZZ with ur wife or ur mother or both. However i was very upset to saw the letter of yovnne ridley.she said pop culture in the name of islam.she was absolutely wrong.i also read ur opinion from ur open letter to yvonne ridley.ur opinion was realy nice and full of real information about islam.i like to thank about ur opinion. Now i like to tell u about one of my best feelings, this is related with my birth day.Do u know why?My birth day is 12th march, and 12th is also the date of birth of PROPHET MUHAMMAD(SM).Thats why i feel very happy and also feel proud with my date of birth.I know u born in july but i dont know ur actual birth day.Any way i think u dont want to publish ur date of birth because many people make u disturb. At last thank u very much to read my long letter with patient. If u dont mind i want to give my e-mail number.I definately know u dont give me any reply though i give u my e-mail.This is dhak_121@yahoo.com So what i dont mind because i just want to share my feelings about islam and ur good songs with u.I wish ur long and happy life. And also want to see ur success in ur islamic music career.Take care yourself and please give my salam to all of ur family members.May ALLAH bless upon u and ur family.Pray for me.ALLAH HAFIZ.
From your bangladeshi sister

hello, brother sami yusuf how are you?bro why do’t you reply our comments
February 8th, 2007 at 3:47 pm
dear sami yusuf, i really love you and your nasheeds.
look there is a woderful world out here and most of them are your fans (definitely me)
why dont you give anyone your email address? i want to contact you not only me everyone.
we love you!!!!!!!!
February 13th, 2007 at 2:45 am
I have to write this. It is up to my nose. I am 21 years old and I love Samis music, I am one of the first people to like his music. But guess what? I listened to him for 3 years, never did I want to see how he looks for 2 years. I never do that with any artist. Because I listen to the music for the purpose of the music not for how the artist looks and I don’t watch TV ever so it is not a problem.
I agree that Sami Yusuf is talented, handsome guy, many girls would like to meat.
But so many people demanding mail from Sami? Why?
Why does he need to give an e-mail? The love can become an obsession, we all know it, so please don’t make such demands as they will never be fulfilled.
What brother Sami is doing is a profession and he is doing it for his reasons not in order to get 100000….e-mails from women who say “I love you”. And every one of you thinks he has a “special” relationship to him. Gue what, when he goes home he never thinks of his fans, because he has a private life. I never think of my job when I get home either, so I understand him there. He has a private life and you need to respect that. I was astound to see girls saying they will be wearing this at the concert and that and he heeds to see them. Hello? He is a family guy and has no intention of getting some groupies. And that is one of the problems of the pop business.
He is optically attractive, OK I get it, I agree, but that is no reason to stalk his private life. There are Muslim brothers of even greater features, optically, in their carriers, character that I know who are not part of the hype and therefore not in the game. This is crazy, it is like a worship. Don’t make it happen. Enjoy the art but stay on the ground. Brother Sami is talented and OK, but there are great Muslims and humans out there who are not on the TV but are doing a lot for Islam. Control the emotions sisters and direct them into a more realistic love. The one for your loved ones, loved one, who is reachable, because Sami Yusuf will never be.
As for me, I have nothing to tell him exept that he keeps singing about Islam and good things and as long as he does it we will listen to his great music.
February 16th, 2007 at 1:04 pm
brother sami yusuf, iam noor from jerusalem/palestine, am really very proud of you , sure you have many many of home loving you and your voise, so am just apoint in the sea, i dont what to say i diable to descripe my feeling as youth same as you, so i hope i can got you email so i can chatting you, ok brther i hope for you ahapy life with all your lover, and also to chooze right things. ya allah bless him and prtect him from any bad things in this life amin.

Every one knows that Mr. Sami songs are very, very..talented and effective, professional. so I don’t know why he keeps receiving some comments that they don’t make any sense. I think that Mr. Sami said very clearly that he is an artists with a very good mulsim exemple so please, do not bother him, theire is a lot of other peaple are called singers that you could bother but not Sami yussuf, because every one knows Machaallah Sami’s values.
Thanks,
