A code have been released showing a faster implementation of techniques in How to Break MD5 and Other Hash Functions, by Xiaoyun Wang, et al. The new code by Stach & Liu have been tested on P4 1.6ghz PC and took an average runtime of 45 minutes only ! There is also similar code and technique for MD4. Very interesting research on MD5 collision and really excellent result to say good bye to MD5.
