This is the third migration of the server in the life of phpmagzine.net humm and certainly not the last one. The traffic have increased very fastly, that the server didn’t support it anymore. The new server isn’t very different, we have just no more limitation on ressources consumed, 5GB of disque space and 75GB of bandwidth monthly. Currently the site is consuming about 15GB.
Please apologize for the inconvenience caused by this migration. The service is back working again. I have activated Jupload plugin to upload more easily ressources to the server. The registration are closed temporarely, but maybe we’ll open it soon for new contributors.
Welcome back to me, I apologize for this long absence. I was not really absence but life sometimes take more time than necessary. I apologize also for the server errors recently, you may notice many times the “Internal server error”. Its a good news and a bad news in the same time.
The good news that we have almost 3000 visitors daily this month, and the bad news that the website is consuming more memory than allowed. So my hosting provider was simply killing my processes due to this high memory usage.
The second bad news also that I have to upgrade again the server, don’t worry there won’t be any downtime at all. I’ll just have to spend more money on the server, the new hosting account is about $24/month. But I think in the current time this website worth a good hosting service so we can provide more informations. So please until the server upgrade the hosting provider told me wahda wahda
