I was not looking for a new job, either I wasn’t awaiting any job offer specially from google ! Yesterday I received an email to join the SRE group at google (Site Reliability Engineering) with two opportunities the first one is Database Administrator/Unix System Administrator and the second one is a Senior Systems Administrator/Architect.
The positions are open in USA, Ireland, and Switzerland. The two offers looks very interesting, but I’ll try to see if there is more offers that fit more with my profile. The only exciting thing that it’s working at google, a new experience which is certainly unique!
Requirements are both 3 and 4 years experience, MySQL 4.0 +, C/C++,PHP, Python, Java in addition to Strong understanding of networking. And certainly everything is running at large scale. Also excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

You should go for it…how many people would love to work for google…do it in the US, because working in google in the US is said to be a pleasure
