Flickr goes Print !

Looks like Flickr is creating a new print service, something that allow you to order your flickr photo album. Anyway Derek Powazek have received yet a first book in his mail. This is what a photo share system could be transformed in, I really like mixing new technologies to classic ones, who said that internet is killing print industry ?

The first surprise was a huge envelope with a 13×19 print inside. The print is a large grid of thumbnails from a seemingly random assortment of my Flickr photos.

The other surprise was a book - 8×10, 66 pages, glossy cover, matte interior. Inside there are four photos per page, culled from my recent sets.
