Great news, the second Podcast is already out :

Ok… wow, didn’t expect that to take as long as it did. But, there is a learning curve to this podcasting stuff, especially when it involves others and Skype. Wez Furlong talks with me for almost an hour about the history and present state of PECL, the importance of PECL::Event and the reasons for PDO and why it shouldn’t threaten any DB Abstraction folks out there. Amazing stuff.
